Fr. Syriac Cherkkuzhy (M.S.F.S)
Fr. Syriac was born on 22nd April 1965, as the son of Kuriakose and Thressiyamma of Cherkkuzhiyil family. He completed his schooling from St. Antony’s School, Kadaplamattam. In 1980 he joined the MSFS congregation to begin his training to become a priest. On 9th April 1994 he was ordained to be a priest by Bishop Mar Peter Thuruthikkonam.He completed his graduation and post-graduation studies from Bangalore. He has served as the vicar and school principal of the mission centers of Hebbegodi, Srinivaspur, Kadisenahalli, and Mulgabal, in Bangalore. From 2005 to 2009 he served in the parish of Katon in Georgia, US. He now serves as the principal of SFS School, Kuknoor in Karnataka.
