Our Former Vicars
The establishment of the church- 23rd April 1911- Fr. Abraham Kaipanplackal (Senior), the then Vicar of Kuravilangad Forane Church, laid the foundation stone for the new church in the name of St. George and offered the Holy Mass in a temporary shed. Fr. Mathayichan Alappatt of Kuravilangad Forane Church used to come and offer the Holy Mass on Sundays and other important days. After a temporary structure was built in 1917, priests stayed in Vayala and started working as guides to the parishioners.
